Vučić's regime has suddenly fired COUNTLESS teachers and principals across entire educational system in #Serbia. Students will have none of it. No one is attending classes now.
As they continue to govern and break rules and laws, they will sink deeper and deeper into position that their own freedom depends on the position of power they hold tightly. This will lead to unimaginable horrors. We have lived through this in past 13 years. Start with the resistance ASAP!
This crookery will "trickle down" to lesser bureaucrats and politicians. Autocratic regimes, like Trump's and Vučić's, need worst of the worst in position of power, because those people can be easily controlled through blackmail. In return, those crooks will do everything possible to keep power.

Yesterday, it's been exactly 10 months since the tragedy of the Railway at Novi Sad. No responsibility still. There were two protests: in Belgrade and Novi Sad. In Novi Sad, police and gendarmerie decided to attack people who put the roses for the dead. For. No. Bloody. Reason.

Russians who escaped here as refugees are mostly anti-Putin, but they keep to themselves. They don't make any friendships here and are unable to fit in culturally. Also unfortunate, because it would be good to hear from them why they don't like that dictator, to dispel this illusion around him.
Russophiles in Serbia are almost exclusively Putin's fans. People who love Russian culture, their music, literature and arts, but don't love Putin, are intellectual minority, which is really unfortunate. Uneducated people cannot differentiate those.
I'm now trying to think ahead of time, knowing the psychology and history of my people... like it's almost... psycho-history from Harry Seldon and The Foundation (Issac Assimov's SF epic). Minimizing this period of transition should be our only goal now, but so much doesn't depend on us alone.
But unfortunately, thanks to EU and their inability to seize the moment and support the protests, we will remain neutral and between worlds for a long long time to come. When Vučić falls, there will be a lot of cleaning up to do. If EU doesn't act in good faith then, all will be lost for decades.

Vučić tried to censor summer rock festivals in #Serbia by removing bands who sing against the regime. So "Beer fests" in Zrenjanin and Belgrade, and "Gitarijada" in Zaječar turned out completely empty. People simply refused to come. There is no rock without rebellion! Vučić can suck it!

It seems that he constantly asks for some gratitude, but he gives none in return. This is a trait of a sick and petty man.
I write like this because I am "deeply concerned" for our future in that bloc, when it is clear that EU doesn't care about any of the values they tried to sell us, like rule of law, human rights etc. All they see in us are mines and a cash cow. This is not the future I want for my kids.
Our kids went to EU on foot, running an ultra marathon, they showed directly where we want to go as a nation, they asked for help. And in return we got silence and two-faced hypocrisy that spoke to us how deep this international corruption goes. We are not the people who will forget this.
We are going into neutrality, it seems. I can change my opinion easily, when presented with proof, but most of my countrymen are deeply stubborn. Once wronged, they will hold a grudge until they die. These protests were an opportunity to change perception and gain loyalty, but opposite happened.
Europe will loose Serbia, but so will Russia, China, USA and Arabs. This is a general and increasing feeling towards mentioned blocks. Europe really don’t understand us at all. They could have had a big ally in us, but chose to side with a (un)stabilocratic dictator.
As autocracy progresses, you will find more and more people like that.
