The ATF was gutted, which means more guns on the streets. Now FBI, ATF & DEA agents are doing traffic stops and ICE raids instead of crime prevention/suppression & law enforcement. Funds for mental health were cut, community programs funds cut, drug rehab funds cut.
Maybe you should have listened to what the mayor of Chicago said about crime in his city. But let's not forget the DOJ purged agents who were assigned to cases against Trump & Jan. 6th (many who would be investigating drug cartels, sex crimes, etc.) 1/2
