He started hybrid estate agent Emoov where he suckered in investors. In early 2018 he was claiming a valuation of £100m. In July 2018 he went via Crowdcube to raise £1.9m from small investors. His claim was that it was needed for marketing costs for an IPO.

If she pleaded guilty, there was no trial. If she was sentenced commensurate for the offence, there was no injustice (her appeal against sentence failed). Therefore there was no 2 tier justice. Yesterday's front page was utterly dishonest.

In case you are wondering, the backlog of asylum applications, at this point, in August 2023, was about 175,000. Far from "clearing it" by the end of that year, Jenrick resigned to pursue his leadership bid. The backlog left behind by the Tories eleven months later was about 225,000. ~AA
