During COVID, Muni wanted the line 292 to pick up intra-SF passengers the way now Golden Gate Transit buses do, but SamTrans refused. SF residents take the 292 for jobs at or near the airport and some trips are packed.

I think Muni's service to San Mateo County is no more than 1/4 mile from the county line and incidental (just because the way the street grids are set up, and where layover is convenient). Yes. People do transfer from SamTrans or board Muni for SF trips, but quite a stretch asking for contribution.

Kids born abroad are US citizens if 1 or both parents are US citizens. They will need a birth certificate from the foreign country to apply for US passport. It's up to laws of the country of birth to determine whether they're citizen of that country too.

Former UK PM Boris Johnson was born in NY and therefore he was a US citizen. He gave up his US citizenship & plenty of others do. The main reason is that US citizens have to pay US taxes for incomes earned abroad. Other countries require candidates to give up foreign dual citizenship.

Even if an alternative birth certificate is issued, as long as the fact that the person is born in the US is established. There's always a chance when policy is changed that the person can just get a US passport at a US consulate.
