When the Cass Review came out last year, the NYT rushed to cover it complete with post notifications. After reviews in Germany and Utah came out supporting gender affirming care for trans youth, dead silence. You can be just as biased in what you don't cover as what you do.

The house has passed a ban on coverage of gender care for all ages under Medicaid, CHIP and ACA plans. I don't know what to say to anyone this morning other than that the hundreds of thousands of people who are about to lose access to the care they need to stay alive deserve better than silence.
I’m begging you to call your representative and urge them to vote against the reconciliation bill and its ban on HRT for adults (and minors) on Medicaid. The changes would also make it so insurance companies and marketplace plans can stop covering gender-affirming care.
Do you know how many mentally ill people are on Medicaid? Tons of us. A huge portion of us. It supports a lot of us in getting our services. Without it we’re not functioning & we’re homeless, which means institutionalized, that’s the plan for the homeless with the criminalization of homelessness.

Musk spent hundreds of millions of dollars to back Trump last year, much of it through dark money PACs that shrouded their spending in secrecy. If Trump really wanted to crack down on secretive election influence efforts, he would start not with small-dollar Democratic donors, but with Musk.
As if we didn't have *enough* institutional transphobia to worry about, the US now has its own version of the Cass Report, baselessly contesting the efficacy of transition care without even daring to name the author(s). The global trans panic is aiming for total and utter trans epistemicide.
