Spaces for people to be people, to interact, exist, participate in the society we live in without pressure to perform, pay or live up to standards we set ourselves - or have set for us - are incredibly important. Informal interactions really help to congeal the social glue in my everyday life.

This march to Gaza is taking place now in Egypt; passports have been taken, some returned (to the wrong people); phones and laptops seized, some returned, some not. Egypt is not on the right side of this. They have employed local thugs to beat and terrorise peaceful marchers.
