UK environment secretary Steve Reed has been out today trumpeting a goal to cut sewage spills 50% by 2030 against 2024 levels But Ofwat said last year that water co spending would cut spills 45% by 2030 against 2021 levels Reed goal gets you 225,199 sewage spills in 2030 Ofwat gets you 204,893!
