Just got into Goose early this year so I didn’t pay much attention to the JOTY for 2024. Listening to it now and I just…how is this even real? And I know some people don’t like it when Goose fans are hyperbolic. Tough shit. This whole playlist is goddamn amazing.

I don’t get the GenX hate. Our parents neglected us in ways that would be horrifying today. We graduated into a recession. We were the first generation to be saddled with huge student loan debt. We have the least political power bc we’re a tiny generation. I could go on and on

As a Deadhead who came into that scene in 1989 (my first show was JFK in Philly with 90k+ people) I didn’t fully grasp the size of the Goose fan base until right now. I know Midwest shows are more lightly attended but still…this is NOT what I’m used to in the best of ways.
