Another update from the “learn from the errors of others” department. Under the most right wing government in #Finland ‘s history, the #unemployment trend breaches 10% for the first time since the horrible depression of the early 1990s. AT A TIME THE REST OF THE EU IS RECOVERING.
Basically, the massive cuts (services and benefits from the poor, taxes and responsibilities from the rich) the government drove through during a recession caused a doom loop of reducing domestic consumption. In the long run, no one wins, but in the short term… this is per income decile.

In the examples you gave, the neurodiversity is not the main contributor to the negative effects those people have on society. It's the lack of social and political guardrails on money and power. The same negative effects, or worse, can be observed with any unconstrained rich and powerful person.

The only way to cut through is unambiguous language ("Covid can still f@#ing wreck your life!") or non-verbal cues, like wearing a respirator. Still, it will only scratch the surface and won't create any deep meaning.

I'd argue that corporations are even less entitled to 1AM protections than chatbots, yet Roberts and the Supremes got them covered. I don't think logic intersects with the current ideological base of the US legal system.

Do I understand it correctly that the payment structure for medical personnel does not encourage the common sense approach you advocate? IIUC Payments and incentives are linked directly to the number of patients seen, so learning time would be mostly unpaid
