Lorry screening improved in 2021. In 2016 there were 8813 crossings made by lorry, and in 2022 approx 9,000 according to Migration Watch (no official govt figures) That doesnβt justify claiming small boats have increased the amount it has because of lorry screening. It's lack of safe routes.
