As someone who plays Magic, I hate Vivi and I think he should not have been printed. But as someone who loves Final Fantasy IX in general and Vivi in particular, I love that he's a completely broken card that's destroying a format.
Sure france has different laws, but the union really helped workers organize and make sur they didn't feel alone when Don't Nod started doing layoffs. Unions are the best way to defend ourselves against these top managements that just see us as disposable.

Fully agree with all of this. And honestly, Gita and Chris talking about how so many modern comedies get it wrong is a good reminder that comedy is much harder to do pitch perfect than it sounds! The Kentucky Fried Theater approach of "machine gun gags" works here b/c it sidesteps that.
