I can’t help it I love what he’s doing. He’s using tRumps own playbook to troll the right while simultaneously making fun of that same playbook and showing how ridiculous it is. Brilliant. Also, I’m not against his team throwing everything against the wall and seeing what sticks.

My son got caught up in this media silo and it took a lot of work to get him out and to see the flaws. He’s a good young man but it’s hard to defend against it the macho persona they want to embed in these young men. Once you look at it from the lenses of empathy all their “principles” fall apart

That would be ideal but the concern is state actors. Once an adversary gets access to a QC all systems become at risk. Even if the military is ahead of them Fortune 500 would be behind. The expense of upgrading company assets to handle this could be impossible. May take a QC to protect against a QC
Given this is a doom thread 😂 the concern is that we don’t understand the impact of this new speed on security. All existing encryption assumes the keys will be changed before the most powerful computer could crack the key with brute force. Quantum computers will invalidate that assumption.
