Reminds me growing and my mum growing vegetables and herbs at the back yard. The lady made tomato sauce for the winter and other delicacies. She’d buy jars and bake them and add basil to sauce and preserve over winter. The lady even made coffee and cake with soy beans and made tea with Aloe Vera.

Awww lol man, time is a funny thing. I’ve been collecting vintage books and it’s amazing how literature (much like photography) captures who we are, and transcends time. I try not to dwell on existential topics but sometimes with age we ponder the way things were. Various family dynamics.
I’ve been thinking of that lately, “Time is such a weird thing.” My nephew is sophomore in high school and recently had a birthday. I remembered holding him as a new born, and now listening to his deep voice. I reflect to being his age just yesterday, and now polishing my walking cane haha 😂
