I’m no expert, but I do know that ppl have different opinions no matter where they live, i.e. lots of ppl in every country were against the ideology or occupation or both, but lots of ppl/businesses in every country actively helped the nazis, like Henry Ford, Coco Chanel, VW, IBM, Swiss banks, etc.

It’s true that usaid and similar orgs gets shit from the left and the right, but for different reasons. The right doesn’t want to spend money on outsiders but doesn’t mind the US having leverage over poorer countries. The left doesn’t like US control but likes people getting what they need.
They could slow down business as usual, use the filibuster they refused to get rid of, coordinate with and hype immigrant welfare orgs, there’s no end to what they could do. Doing something that doesn’t work right away is better than freezing, punching left, or fundraising like everything is fine
