Governor Pritzker is correct, and based on Trump’s remarks today it looks like Governor Newsom is in the same position. Is there no Republican in Congress with the courage and wisdom to speak out against this vile and lawless regime?
Not just Governors but Federal Judges have also declared it unlawful. But Trump is ignoring them until SCOTUS weighs in. Giving him months of lawless tactics before he is reined in. Up side, his private military can be arrested as they are not authorized to do what they are doing.
He should mobilize HIS NG right now. And remind them that courts have already found drumpf federalizing them is unconstitutional. If they obey such a command, he will use the UCMJ against them to the full extent of the law.
