Is the media allowed to lurk outside the courtroom and take video/photographs of the ICE witnesses as the witnesses leave?
Allen (@allenleavitt.bsky.social) reply parent
What opportunity? Orientation will go something like this: "You have been tasked with vetting applications of people who are all-in for ICE's mission. You will get 75 packets a week. Your quota is 70 approvals. Fail you meet that, and you'll be fired."

Whelp, so much for judicial economy. Trump v Casa punts on the 14th Amendment, but basically eviscerates the ability of lower courts to say to the government, "hey, that's illegal, and it's illegal regardless of who specifically complains about it."

The 5th Circuit decided that a military base wasn't "within the United States" for 14th Amendment purposes, which left citizenship under the INA as a child of a citizen. And for that, his father needed to have spent 10 years in the US, and he hadn't.

Musk just announced in the Cabinet meeting they they were able to quickly restore funding for Ebola prevention. I mean, that seems like something Judge Ali should know when she decides whether to stay the TRO because it's impossible to release funding quickly.

Oh, hey, look at this. Musky outright says they can move very quickly to restore funding. This outright contradicts the DOJ who filed papers YESTERDAY saying that restoring USAID funding was a complex, laborious process that could take weeks and that's why they can't comply with the TRO.
