I just read that shortages should show up within a week. Current ships heading to Calif ports have around 45% less items than before. This will affect jobs all the way around that support those imports.
I saw on news last night about a small grocery store that just opened in a food desert neighborhood. They wanted the people to have fresh fruits and vegetables. Already, the wholesale prices are rising because many items are imported. They are afraid they will have to close if the tariffs continue.

DT didn't want the public to know about the coming of Covid and then, when acknowledgement was unavoidable, he discounted the growing numbers, telling people it would go away quickly. Over a million US citizens died because DT didn't want to look bad and dragged his feet on preventative measures.

Interesting. I bought eggs yesterday. They are still $3.99 a dozen in my area. The same price they rose to when the bird flu struck. Grapes are higher, soft drinks in the can are higher, etc. So, the Govt needs to explain in detail just HOW tariffs are making things better.

I am more than certain he is closer to 300 than he is to 224. And him being 6'3"? Nope. No chance. His son is supposed to be 6'6" and he is definately taller than 3" when standing next to his Dad. I would say DT is just slightly above 6'.

My father, who fought in Italy and Germany during WW2, visited Auschwitz in the 50s when he was stationed back over there. He said the crematorium ovens still smelled of burnt flesh. It was something he never forgot.
I suspect he forgets where his conversation is heading while he is talking. He gets sidetracked by a word and gets stuck on it. In order to cover up that lapse, he fills in with what ever he can pull out of the air. He did that before but it is far worse now that he is older.

There were around 1000 protesters in downtown Denton, TX. There had been heavy rain earlier in the morning but had stopped before the march at 1-3p.m. It was windy and a bit cold but everyone was feeling the energy.
