Anyone running windows 11, uninstall KB2565063 immediately. It was starting to corrupt my drive and was causing nasty issues with Helldivers 2. Namely frame dips as low as 18 fps. This was a fucking nightmare until I finally found the update through opting to uninstall. Otherwise it wasn’t there.

In case any assholes do see this and think it’s fragile or weak to get upset over “light teasing”, no. Life doesn’t work like that. Just because something wouldn’t bother you, doesn’t mean it wouldn’t deeply affect someone else. We all have different life experiences. Just be cordial. Simple.
It’s completely irrelevant if you disagree with someone or not, no matter how strongly you may feel about their opinion. If it’s not something that has real world implications, such as human rights, just leave it alone. Opinions on entertainment should never lead to someone being harmed.
I know this doesn’t apply to anyone in our community, but just as an overall PSA: Unless someone is being a bigot or something adjacent in that negative context, don’t be an asshole. It’s one of the smallest asks and easiest things in the world to do. Just give others the same respect you expect.

Oh, I would be too. I feel a mix of excitement and also kind of terrible, lol. If it was 3.1 mil and they sold it for 310k, wouldn’t feel as bad, but taking a 28 million loss is pretty massive, even with how easy it is to make gil in the game.

So apparently FF XI works just fine on the Steam Deck, so there really is no reason for it not to be on PS4/5, Xbox One/Series, and Switch 1/2. A lot of XIV players mainly play on console and many of us never played XI. Missed opportunity on Square’s part.

Every class does have a Figmental weapon, but they all look different and all have a joke theme to them. Examples being reaper’s being a scarecrow scythe, viper having a fork and knife, monk using shark fists, dark knight sword that’s flowery and pink, etc.

If you have a switch and don’t have this yet, this is a must-buy It’s a perfect balance, really, of offering quality of life and graphical improvements, while maintaining the overall feel of the original. This and Oblivion are what remasters should be.

Honestly would not recommend playing anything really more intense than this on XIV, though, since you have the general server latency, plus the portal latency, to contend with. It’s just enough to where it’ll almost certainly get you killed in higher end content.

99.9% of people are not going to think to ask if the person is there to simply steal or there to cause bodily harm or death. Most people will be terrified and act accordingly. People are not in the wrong for trying to protect themselves and their loved ones.
There are near-infinite things the right wing says and does that I take issue with, but there are also some things the far left says that irk me. For example, getting mad at victims of home invasion when the perp gets shot. My take: if someone breaks into your house and you blast them, good.

People really shouldn’t base the value of an entire console gen on the 10/10’s released during it. It’s true that past gens had more legendary games, but they also had a load of awful ones, if we’re being objective. We have less legends this gen, but we’re loaded with 7-8’s and that should be ok.

Just fixed an embarrassing bug in the demo for Aqatillion that went unreported for an entire year after the demo's release. Turns out, if you use the combo skill "Ice Blade," the demo crashed due to a missing animation file.

The objective fact of the matter is, these corporations could have dropped the price, but chose to leave them where they were for greater profit margins over time. They’re raising them to now to maintain those higher margins to appease shareholders. Don’t buy into their bullshit.
Not a soul with a functional brain inside their head is going to pay more now for a PS5/5pro, XSX/S, or Switch 1 than what those consoles cost at launch. I understand it’s somewhat outside of their control due to tariffs, but the consoles should have had permanent price DROPS by now anyway.

Like, load times are almost non existent. Cant really improve much there. Visuals have peaked in any capacity that matters. Frame rate could be improved, but that’s not going to sell a $600+ device by itself. Really not sure what they can do that isn’t AI integration.
With the vast majority, if not all, of the games released this gen essentially just being 8th gen games with icing on top, I do kind of worry about how they can possibly make the 10th gen seem worthwhile. They can’t just offer 8th gen games with icing and the addition of sprinkles.
