It’s outrageous that Sec. Kennedy is trying to fire the CDC Director — after only a few weeks on the job — for her commitment to public health & vaccines. The Sen. HELP Committee must hold a hearing with Kennedy & the CDC Director as soon as possible. Vaccines save lives. Period.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE. This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined. It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

More than 16 million Americans are at risk of losing their health care because Republicans in Congress are rushing to pass a bill that would cut federal funding for Medicaid and weaken the Affordable Care Act.
I think Congressional Republicans are acting like they’re appalled and are going to oppose the bill but the bottom line is that they will end up caving in to Trump! They always do and it’s such a disservice for the American people. I am so disgusted with what he’s done to this country.

It’s insane that Republicans are still trying to sell trickle-down economics—and it’s peak insanity that people still buy it. Before Reagan’s tax cuts, debt was under control—even w/highways, Medicare, Medicaid, and the Cold War. What changed? Massive tax cuts. And we’re still footing the bill.
