I couldn’t help but reference Cry for Justice and Rise of Arsenal (despite how unpopular those twists were for the character!) But I think he transcends the setback and can work wonders with the hook! Glad you like the designs regardless. 😅
My character designs for the Titaneers, a formidable crew of familiar faces reimagined for next week’s free-to-read “Aquaman: Yo-Ho-Hold Onto Your Hook!” From the 1965 debut of “Teen Titans” to “Young Justice”, “Titans” and beyond, I’m grateful to make a small contribution that that rich legacy!

We had a back-and-forth! A handful of characters were initially requested in a brief and then I added a ton more (and then we had to trim because the composition was getting a bit too crowded.) I think we arrived at a happy medium in the end.

I wish she was in it too! I had a whole list that was more than triple the number of figures you see here, including Diana! We just didn’t have enough space in the composition, and chose to prioritize some of the lesser-known characters for this image. 😅
