Floors pristine— cold tile, texture of wealth hue of good breeding, furnishings to match. What if my inferior birth stains the upholstery? Or my brittle facade cracks just a little revealing the housemaid in me? Inferiority claws— will I be asked to hunker down and scrub the floors? #facades
