Did it possibly occur to you that the Democrats may not want to reveal their plan just yet? Moreover, Jeffries has done a good job of holding his fractured party together in the House. In fact dealing with House issues is his primary job - not articulating policy for each state.

We have a long road ahead. We might see new leaders at each stage of the journey. Newsom is stepping up now, at this stage, when we need him. Maybe he’s the man for the long haul and maybe not. We’ll see.

Obviously I don’t know where you live but in the southeast Pennsylvania region SEPTA provides all the buses, commuter rail lines, subway, etc. Some services will be totally closed (forever). Many people simply cannot afford a car and use SEPTA to get to work every day.
I believe you - (though I don’t want to.) I’ve done a little reading on economic impact of the Septa shutdowns and it’s going to affect property values, etc. Im surprised that some of the big corps plus UPenn, Temple, etc. haven’t been involved. You are right; pathetic.
