Many of us have suffered at the hands of people who would have been absolutely deadly if they had/have easier access to firearms, especially the types that are currently even more restricted. I used to have the attitude of "it's the person, not the firearm, that's problematic".

Women actually ARE competent and capable of "doing it all", but why should we have to? It still doesn't allow us to "have it all". Meanwhile, men are not even required to prove they can do ONE thing competently, let alone all of it, and they are still given the world.
Sommer Tothill (@sommertothill.bsky.social) reposted
Think about how many successful women you watched drop out of their career once they had children, while the father of their kids continued to rise in success. If we're asking "can women have it all?" the answer is only yes if men step back and do for us what we've been doing for them.

This goes beyond complicity - it is direct, active participation in genocide. Labour is training, arming and providing intelligence to a military that is committing atrocities and violating the basic principles of human rights and international law. It must stop now.

Pref voting means you can vote for the candidate you ideally want elected but also say who you prefer if they don't get up. So, your vote is not wasted. Everyone gets a say in who is elected, it's a great system 👏
