Played a lot of Sonic as it first intro to games, on the Megadrive but the first game my head goes to for truly loving would have to be Dungeon Keeper. Something about it even now that I just adore. Closely followed by Red Alert 2.
A. Kinda felt Hardings didn't love up to what I hoped since wishing it was an option since the start of Inq. It was solid realistically, probably just a case of expectations ruining reality

I think Xbox released a list of what was at Gamsscom and it didn't have Fable in it sadly, I was disappointed. Though I still have some hope that list was physically what was there and not what's going to be part of ONL
I found camping out in the wilderness in Red Dead Redemption 2 was incredibly relaxing too. They really nailed the soundscape.

I enjoyed that Abby's journey in 2 essentially mirrors Joel's in the first. By the end I was routing for her more than Ellie. Ellie's hate filled journey was tiring, she had a good thing there with Dina and I couldn't imagine throwing it away.
Aveline by far. Honestly, don't care for the other 3, they rarely make rotation for me.
I know 2 is objectively the best game, but I adore 1. It's my favourite even with the jank. I think it's because it exudes hope in a way the latter 2 don't, for good reason, but still, 1 is just such a different tone. Feels like there's still exploration to be done. Amazing music too!
I think Bethesda does a certain, special kinda world and exploration that just really hits for me. Some of my fondest me tries are from FO3 and Oblivion, just wandering around to see what I could find. Starfield didn't quite hit as I couldn't just wander in the same way. Though still played a lot!
So goddamn good! Like, I am terrible at it every single match but I judt couldn't wait to get another one in. Reminded me of the best days I had playing BC2, BF3 & 4.
Plain chips and a full sugar coke is delightful. Kaiden is more oatmeal, which as we all know sustains you though likely doesnt excite. I think unfortunately the romance for him and Ashley suffers just fue to their screen time in 2. That and others are better!

Been replaying with a few friends recently, just 2 to 3 hours, once a week. Great game, amazing shooting and just good fun with friends. Still looks amazing too, even 7 years later

I think its my favourite in the series, least so far. Ive replayed it a few times, I think the era and setting just elevate it slightly above the before and after.

It's such a beautiful game, really showcases how much more important art style is over purely pushing graphics. The title cards at the start of each mission are pure cinema and I love them!

They really should have done this trailer and the MP stuff all in one go I think. That said, campaign looks great. I also agree, I dont want hero solo style operatives, judt a soldier as part of a team. I want it to be where a good squad working together can change the tide of the entire battle

The excellent marketing may be skewing my thoughts, but you really feel like the cast had a great time working together and how that shines through in every scene. Its wonderful, no notes at all

Great opening episode! I enjoyed saying trivia at the screen for you then to say it anyway, very validating. Keep Sarah away from Tomb Raider, death scenes! It was my intro to Pierre, lovingly, he gives, "I'd leak classified design docs to WarThunder for realism' vibes. Amazing! 10/10 I'm in.
They're absolutely stunning! So glad they're doing the plates too, as when they were first announced as consoles, I was worried that'd be it. Sorely tempted to pick some up, just too pretty!
C. Always a mage, my favourite class across the entire series, though I do think Veilguards combat is geared best towards a warrior

Amazing show, and I'm so glad they kept Boyd around as his and Raylans' relationship really feels like the core of the show. Agree on the Ava/Raglan relationship, never landed with me either. I also wish we got more of Rachel and especially Tim, both amazing and I just wanted to see more

Osiris Reborn is probably my top game at the moment. Exodus and Mass Effect im all in for, but they somehow seem more distant even though Osiris is a while off yet.

Exactly that, I had it on wishlist waiting for a price I could go for it. I do love the Arbites aesthetic with it being pulled from Dredd back in the day, so im looking forward to trying. Always heard the 1st DLC was fantastic too and I'm interested in thr Trazyn based DLC coming later.
I did my first playthrough when it went on Gamespass earlier this year. Adored it, what a game! I'm not usually one for CRPGs but this just clicked. I haven't done any DLC yet so I have a good excuse to jump back in!
Completely agree! The combat is a little samey, but the story and characters more than compensate! I think even with the excellent films, this version of the characters and their acting is my favourite, brilliantly done!
I think Bellara/Neve would have made a lot of sense to fit in further with the story of DAI. That said, Emmerich is just so damn interesting I'd have loved to have met him.

Does it stray into the true crime/murder documentary styling where they seem to spend the whole thing pretending there's new information they might uncover in the show?
I remember bouncing off FO3 when it first came out, made it maybe 8 hours in. Picked it up again in the summer the next year, played 300 hours in a few months. So I definitely agree, sometimes it takes a time or two.

I do think what Remedy have created with the Northlight Engine are outstanding, it's one of the best out there. Though I can only speak as a player not a dev, its just stunning and handles some fun interactions beautifully.

Wholeheartedly agree! It was something I rented on a whim. Loved it, it's dumb goofy fun with some of the best enemy damage modelling, pieces just coming off as you shoot in a very satisfying way.
A fair and reasoned review, its a great game but getting around was at times confusing and a bit laborious. That said, I love Ahti, so 10/10

It is good, story went to places I didn't expect and they managed to maintain humour amazingly whilst honestly having some of the most harrowing story moments

I bounced off it twice but once it clicked, I was hooked! Amazing story, its another one that sticks with you for a long while.
So does the soundtrack, out there slat times but it works sublimely

My first time playing the protag didn't make it past getting his tie off the fan. Low stats on body gave him a heart attack from the exertion. I can only imagine how many other ways there are to not make it
