Artists working in mainstream USA comics: Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, Image, etc. all expect art to these dimensions. I'm seeing more and more disregard for the standard specs, and it affects everyone's deadlines to have production try and wrestle your art into proper proportions.

Both...But more animated. These days not as much,considering affordable software and AI. Back in the 80's, 90's and parts of 00's lots of work was getting done in Korea. I go to Japan and Korea often and sometimes go to studio's its pretty impressive the amount of work that gets done.

Building a career as a comic writer comes with moments when you feel like you're making no traction whatsoever. Every writer you look up to faces that hurdle for one reason or another, even to this day. All you can do is keep your chin up, stay humble, and keep writing.
Leifeld makes himself out be much more important within the entertainment industry than what he really is. When you draw most of your characters in your own likeness you are far beyond a narcissist.

I'm thrilled & honored whenever they thank me in a movie or tv show's credits for my contributions to these characters. A lot of creators get mad over the $ of it all. For me, it's the frustration of not being asked to help contribute. I'd LOVE to be a consultant-- or a WRITER-- on these projects.
