I’m not a New Yorker, but I like this man. He has such positive energy, is well spoken, seems very sincere and has some good ideas to solve problems. Let’s face it. We need new leaders with different strategies. The status quo is not working.

Extrajudicial killings and possibly of random civilians. Why was it necessary even if they were confirmed drug traffickers? Why not apprehend them to get to their kingpins instead?
This is important. The first 24 hours of press coverage fumbled the ball. But the US just murdered 11 people in international waters. Analogies to the US’s (highly suspect, morally and legally) targeted killings of suspect terrorists don’t work. This crossed their own lines, and they know it.

I feel you. It is totally crazy. Who wants their kid to get polio or measles. And the kids are at the mercy of their parents some of whom will decide not to vaccinate them.
I would not surprise me. It seems like they put little thought into this and I don’t even think they know who was in the boat. At least they have not provided that information.

Trump is such a malicious bastard. He fired immigration judges, leaving immigrants stuck in limbo, at constant risk of being kidnapped by ICE thugs. Now the Pentagon has authorized up to 600 military lawyers who have no experience with immigration law to serve as judges. This can't end well.
