2014 movie: DIE AGAIN TOMORROW. I dislike Tom Cruise, and I've watched this 3x! From a Japanese novel. Cruise goes all in as a chew toy. Emily Blunt is the action hero that Cruise's character respects and wants to become like. She doesn't appear in the early scenes, so stick with it.

From 1970, TIME AND AGAIN by Jack Finney. A sketch artist is sent to the NYC of 1882 (by people who are lying about his mission, of course). Beautifully evocative of that place and time, cleverly illustrated. The first t-t book that really sold and transported me.

And, gloriously enough, I think that advice works best with black dye. As long as the garment's fabric will take the dye (compare its label and dye info) you're likely to end up with black, or with a very dark value of the original hue - which can be a handsome surprise.

Add to your Possibly Good Pope BINGO card: a) American-born NATURALIZED PERUVIAN CITIZEN. b) MATH MAJOR. (BS, Villanova, 1977) c) Read JDV for filth (in an educational manner)

Tweet from @drprevost (now Pope Leo XIV) JD Vance is wrong: Jesus doesn't ask us to rank our love for others ncronline.org/node/292716 via @NCRonline
