I just realised I'm in the last 2 months of my 3 Year Implant Loop Recorder journey. In 3 years there have been zero notifications from Hammersmith Hospital Cardio team to tell me there was an issue. Thats pretty good going considering there's usually a 70%capture rate in year 1 #cardiology

im over 50; and can confirm the abusers are more often than not the ones outraged. That moral panic is blasted into the media and news with the suggestion "its about the children" all the while its really about separating children from access to healthy community and knowledge to protect themselves
soimetimes the best way we can learn about our selves is to play with ourselves. We can find out what stimulates us and what excites us. Its important though when you learn these things to decide how you want to share and communicate them because life is too short for boring boardgaming.

I don't get how people don't realize that a technology that replaces junior and entry level positions in a field destroys that field. There's no skipping steps. You have to be a junior before you can be a senior, and if you don't have senior people, you don't have a field.

I used that tool today to make an update to my own blog and to ensure my cloud assets were uploaded to our @cloudflare.social r2 bucket. We eat our dog food and are likely to build more extentions for @vscode.dev as we build/eat/deploy our code

I got into Morning pages by way of @malev-da-shinobi.bsky.social and in the same week "Julia Cameron The Artist Way" . Using the morning pages as a moment of meditation and reflection has been life changing in terms of how I have approached some mental health barriers and habits.
Marking a moment here : 4 months ago I started doing Morning Pages as part of a process to improve my own reflection on my work and mental health. Tomorrow I start a new month and a new notebook. Every day , each morning I hand write 2 a4 pages of what is effectively stream of conciousness. ..1/2
