In some good news. The photo emulsion I've been waiting on for the past 2 weeks for the Fractures packaging should be arriving soon. I have been doing lots behind the scenes. We should make a schedule for the next year with cons to go to and deadlines set.

2/2 it reads a bit like a comic, Lynd Ward’s work, & some imagery feels like Käthe Kollwitz. Important piece and glad it’s been put in print for contemporary audiences. The backside is much more celebratory of him as an artist. (This continues my exploration of things published accordion format…)

My tin foil exposure unit. I found out my 5-year-old photosensitive emulsion couldn’t handle the power wash or remover. Cleaned the screen, ordering fresh paint, and will try again soon. 🫠🖤 #PrintFail #Silkscreening #LearningCurve

Thanks Briel. Ahhh, it is, but if you're interested in self-pub, I'd say have a go. I've tried silk screening packaging befor,e and that was easier than lino block. However, with a block you have it forever, let alone a screen's image degrades over time faster.

Currently my phone camera's broken, But we sucsessuslly started linocutting this print out! More to come when camera is fixed. I plan to make 50 out of cloth, the rest as paper for the Fractures Packaging.
