It's kind of a weird sentiment, since I'm almost saying "she lets you get away with bad writing", but that's not really what I mean. She's sort of a built-in fourth wall as she analyzes things in a textual way without actually getting meta or anything, and I think that's pretty nifty.

I lied, I'd started with the "free" product that still requires auth, finally figured it out, got excited, and now the paid thing seems to be unauthorizeable completely. Fuck drm so hard.
On the plus side, compared to what I used to do that no longer seems to work (authorize as admin user), I no longer have to run my DAW as an admin user which was always really shitty. Tho now there's some popup complaining that it's not run in admin, but if anything it's a reminder not to use these.
DRM is the fucking devil.
I should get some kind of monetary reward for getting ancient IK Multimedia instruments running and working. I should put that money toward going through every ancient song file I've ever made, no matter how crap, and updating it to use some other instrument so I never have to do this again.

Played a bunch of FF, Mega Man, Resident Evil, Mario, Zelda... but haven't comprehensively played everything in any of those unless you narrow it down to something that's shorter anyway ("All the NES Mega Mans" is only 6). If I played MM11, maybe 1-11 + Powered Up could get me to 12 for OG Mega Man?
Seeing this made me realize there are almost no long series where I've actually played all the entries to completion. I've played all the Silent Hill what weren't mobile/arcade/shovelware. That's 11... 8 mainline games, two short free games and one remake. Really can't think of anything longer.

Don't have screenshots, but I put all my Berseria characters in towels before my new game plus, so all the characters get introduced in their towels and half of them you can't change their outfits until a while after they're introduced. "You'll be fighting him!"

Although I appreciate the Xenoblade 2-3 or Guilty Gear style, I think the "anime" design hasn't been translated as well since the early 2000s wildly expressive face swaps. I wish we could reach this level of expressiveness with more modern techniques.

Definitely think Genesis is the better name. For a computer-adjacent thing, I want mega drive to refer to some sort of storage drive, which it definitely doesn't, and that breaks my brain. I do appreciate the very liquid metal vibes in the mega drive logo, but also the sharp edges of the genesis.
