I watched the video of Zack Polanski talking with residents of Clacton about Farage.... It was unbelievable that the people he spoke with (that had voted for Farage) didn't know about his plans for the NHS or zero hour contracts. Perfect example of voting by sound-bite...🙄

2/ America has a distinct advantage over the UK because you have a written constitution, so use it. Make sure that gov & business understand exactly what you think. If all else fails, take a leaf out of the French's book and grind the country to a halt!
1/ Certainly the gov needs to be hauled over the coals. Their emails and phones need to be jammed to the hilt with people telling them exactly what they think (and I suspect there are a lot more people than we think actually doing this). But corporations shouldn't get away with this either.

The share holders might lose a hell of a lot more if too many people refuse to spend their money on anything Disney related... Subscriptions cancelled. Holidays cancelled. Not purchasing merchandise. If enough people take these actions, it's going to have a massive impact.

3/ Second, what starts happening when this starts to happen with other drugs? We need to sever ties with the US and realign with Europe, otherwise the NHS will disappear.
2/ Some people might say, "But this is just a weight loss drug, so what?" First of all, my friend has massive stressful situations in her life and additional medical conditions, so losing access to this drug is going to put more stress on her.
1/ I'm already furious about this... Friend needs weight loss drug for health reasons. Part of UK/US trade deal was UK & US customers have to have equal prices. Drug cost here has now more than doubled, pricing her out & because she doesn't meet NHS criteria, she can't get it.

Apparently, & I can't confirm this as I can't remember the source, it was a body shot that hit his body armour & deflected into his neck. If this is true, then either the shooter didn't know about the body armour & 'got lucky' or the shooter knew about the armour, intended a 'miss' & was 'unlucky'.
