I don't think it's mine - though it is a GT, I'd be amazed if mine was still going as the galvanised spaceframe was breaking the trade descriptions act - or just breaking - and it was a bit rattier in places. Plus mine was a Euro spec with fog and reverse lights in the tailgate. Wish I could bid!
I've seen some incredible lease offers for the bigger one - both via @octopus.energy and from brokers (Octopus contracts are maintained, so probably the better deal) - I'm tempted but they don't offer a choice of colours. I miss my BYD Atto test car a lot so I'm excited to see more Chinese brands :)

It didn't populate the list properly at first, which confused me - "why are there only these to choose from it's not those!" but I also seem to have the worst contact-patch to iPhone digitizer mapping of anything with fingers. I miss keyboards and styluses. At least I got the year for most of it π

Was browsing AutoTrader yesterday and whether it's done an eBay, or AutoTrader users are cut & pasting LLM gibberish, the resulting descriptions are every bit as inaccurate and useless as you'd expect and thoroughly offputting. Does anyone look at these results "as a customer" before enabling it?
This picture makes me sad even though I know it had to be done and they were making more of them at the time. I once dreamed of owning one when they were affordable classics - like a DMC-12, the moment when I could have financed it was too unstable, the moment the stability lands - no finance!
Great, the C64 GS and Amstrad GX4000 are crying now. Master System - MSII - was still going strong alongside the Megadrive/Genesis in the UK for normal '90s buyers, though. And the 7800 remained available from catalogues and electronics stores WAY longer than it should have done, like, post XE VGS.

Modern "platforms" and based on are such a nonsense, because most of what is considered a platform is electronic, subsystems, a handful of hardpoints and suspension system options but you could have three entirely different rear axle designs on one "platform". More of an SDK - and much is bought in.

I appreciate what they're trying, sort of "low poly Avus" but it just seems pointless when nothing about SUV-inspired tough and bluff front supports the function of what the TT represented - itself a hedge-betting successor to the Karmann-Ghia IMO that could easily have been a VW.

Before these I had Spirit Absolute 2s and a Samson amp, and some JBL Control One predecessors - but the JBL powered option is very expensive for what you get.
For my music setup I use a pair of KRK Rokit G5s (I think...) but they're quite bulky- and then some Carillon AMT-08s for noodling/playing synths because I've had them for nearly 20 years and can't afford more KRKs or the Adam monitors I'd really like :)
I use a set of old H-K Soundsticks with a subwoofer. The Apple iMac era ones. 3.5mm jack. But what I'd recommend from Amazon is PreSonus Eris 3.5 - small enough to be comparable to typical PC speakers, but good enough for clear reproduction of music and speech, and reasonably loud. amzn.to/3HWwkTv

You couldn't make Trigger Happy TV today. Not because of woke. It's simply that most of the audience wouldn't understand that the loud guy with the big phone was doing something bad.
So technically it's not fixed - the brightness still causes glitches - but it's good enough for me to have a cheap drum machine I'd been tempted by new. If anyone who knows #OLED and #PiHacking has seen this before any tips for what I'm looking for as a voltage controller would be awesome :)
Bought this #KorgDrumlogue as faulty because the seller put up a video showing that it played and made sounds - the display is glitching like mad. Thought maybe bad encoders making it try to bring up menus while working. Did find it covered in sticky flux and some bad solder repairs...
I'm content enough with it - and thankyou! But there's still something to fix, some lights are staying on dim and the cycle button LED doesn't go to full brightness so there must be a short, broken earth or failed component I need schematics and a brain to fix! Yesterday's repair was easier!

Hermit cars: the #MazdaRX7 has reclaimed its cosy garage and the vacated carport was immediately claimed by the Audi even though it doesn't quite fit and leave room for stuff at the back. The RX fuel pipes over the subframe are giving me the fear. Several fear. Many fear. I need a proper lift.

Oh and top marks to #SteinbergCubase developers - this ancient controller (which is incredibly well made) remains expensive used, but it is discontinued and obsolete having been launched about 18 years ago. Despite that, Apple Silicon drivers were released & it works perfectly with the latest Cubase
Happily working again and able to do useful things like open/close a VST instrument or open the EQ panel with the touch of a button instead of resorting to the mouse. The flyjng fader works, too!
I hate surface mount soldering of any kind because I'm not that good at it usually. 9 switches replaced and my Cubase remote controller works perfectly (and clickily) again. No yelling or mishaps involved!

When soldering wires inside a tailgate after feeding various things through the window surround to drag reverse camera wire, having checked it all, and then polished the light - dropping it = end of the world. I miss real scrappies but some eBay breakers sell good bits, fast & cheap. Mood better :)
