If you're good and I'm up to date with all my work, I may do some cat portraits in this style. In aid of the rescue place mine came from.
Obvs when I'm talking about Bears Get Crafty and I say 'we' or 'ours' I mean me and the cats. There's only 1 bear in spite of the plural.

My Granny used to make Frothy Jelly. You whip up your dissolved jelly with evaporated milk. When it's set you pretend it's mousse or something. I think it was a wartime recipe. Loved it.
I don't think I've had evaporated milk since I was 14. Really must buy some

Ordered a leg of lamb from Waitrose cos stepdaughter & OH are coming for lunch soon. Hadn't bought one since last Xmas. Twenty squid. Thinking I'll cut it in half & freeze for later. Nope. Fucking dwarf sheep. It won't feed 4 people. Now all tell me where to buy nice lamb leg at a sensible price.
First Hummingbird Hawk moth I've seen this year. They really are extraordinary little insects that look so much like a hummingbird. This one is feeding on hardy plumbago flowers growing outside the house. Those lovely orange underwings! Beautiful 💙 🤎

In other news, Aslan ate nearly 2/3 of large tin of tuna. Partly due to me withholding biscuits. Pip won't stop eating everything all the time and is really heavy. I think it's just the cooler weather. Wormed her just in case. The vet is going to tell her off for being overweight.
I always find sleeves are too long. Maybe I should trim all my sleeves and give you the extra bits.

I had a tooth out a few years ago. Dentist was trying to convince me to have an implant. But soooo expensive and I didn't think I could tolerate so much dental work. Luckily the gap doesn't show when I smile
