The only thing we can ‘do’ to stop this is mass, sustained protests. I’m talking protests that are big enough to impact the economy. Folks who aren’t on political social media don’t think it’s bad enough for that yet, though, and I honestly question whether we have the attention span for it at all.

Actually what Americans just saw today was a prominent Republican US Senator announce he is quitting because he knows this budget is going to hurt millions of people and he was repeatedly threatened by the president and his cult for telling the truth about it.
UPDATE: Senate Republicans made Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill even worse. Now, this bill rips health care coverage away from 17 MILLION people—that’s an additional 1 MILLION people. Health care cuts now total over $1 TRILLION.
