New add to 2025's favorite comics: The Ardent by @cantocomics.bsky.social via @fieldmouse.press I loved reading this work, but I'm most impressed by the way Antonowicz flirts with some really dark moments, but then balances a comedic whimsy in a way that doesn't feel like tonal whiplash.

IDW’s new payment plan for creators is exposure? If this is true that per-page budget is insanity. Also- young creators out there. Publishers who pay an insulting page rate with the assurance you’ll make great royalties are lying.
