I know this is small solace and won't work/isn't desired by many (the majority?) of the authors caught in this situation, but I do know one author who used the fact that her publishers failed to file copyright as contractually obligated to get her rights back to several of her bestselling titles.
I am lightly horrified by how many people have now looked up their books and found out their publishers (who often were required contractually!!!!) just... didn't register the copyrights on books. Not all of them! Just sporadically! This is not just one publisher, I've seen all the big ones now.

there are things that may stand out for me in a piece of art, and things I don't even notice. those things will be different for you. and, importantly, they are not carbon copy representations in either of our brains.
I am not averaging a bunch of art in my mind when I am making my own art; I am bringing the whole of who I am, which includes my past encounters with art -- which is different from the art itself because I have applied some sort of meaning and interpretation to that art, even selection.
and then when I go to make something, even if it is inspired by that piece of art, I both carry with me my own set of interpretations of that encounter, and am creating something new that is based on, again, the uniqueness of who I am.
the way that I encounter art is going to be shaped by a multitude of things that are part of the unique person that I am: my personal preferences, my personal history, the associations that I have with the things that art represents, and so on. you will bring an entirely different interpretive lens.
first, people who produce that art want to share it with other human beings. second, my encounter with that art is going to be unique to me, and even unique to me in that moment. in some sense, none of us is looking at the same piece of art even though we are looking at the same piece of art.
a clever person might ask: what is happening inside of me when I encounter a piece of art or writing or music, and how is that the same or different from what AI is doing? and in doing so, they would answer their own damn question with their own damn thinking instead of outsourcing it.

the number of people claiming vaccines triggered their POTS onset is probably far greater than the number of people for whom it actually did, but it certainly can and has happened.
I can read. the quoted post does not specify which type of vaccine such claims were being made about (I haven't listened to the audio). if it actually did happen, even if rare, then we need to be honest that it *can* happen, just like claims that vaccines triggered POTS.

I'm an only child, so I don't have siblings to have this conversation with, but if there are siblings, you are all actually in the same boat, just exploited/neglected/whatever in different ways. in healthy families, no one permanently occupies just one role; family members switch off.
I quite literally ran away from university and my family, after nearly landing the top scholarship at a top institution. I was not able to fulfill that promise (and be thankful that I opted out early; I'd have been a terrible MD).
sometimes negative promises are made on children's behalves; that they will never amount to much and they are obligated to carry that out. the "Golden Child" may see more material success, but a) they aren't authentically themselves or happy, and b) many of us aren't able to fulfill the promise.
I'm writing my dissertation about this (in a sense). the idea of having "potential" is a promise made on one's behalf that you had little hand in making, but are then obligated to carry out. it is a form of indebtedness to adults. children should be children.

Just for the record, Trump can’t do this. The constitution is very clear that the times, places, and manners of elections for federal office are up to each state, but can be altered by Congress. The president has no role here, except to sign into law or veto a bill that congress passes to do this.
