Well said. The browns and greens were critical when I was starting out (mumble, talk into hand) years ago. Today, there are certain flesh tones I can only get by mixing cheap-ass kiddie paints with premium higher-priced spreads. But don’t tell anyone.

A lot of the people who criticize labor unions take for granted 40-hour weeks, weekends, paid holidays, safe work environments, child labor laws and a list of benefits a mile long. Corporations didn't GIVE anybody these rights or benefits. Unions WON them. For working Americans. Like you.

As a journalist, I have long relied on government agencies for statistics and other accurate information. From AIDS to COVID and now measles and bird flu, I have turned to NIH, CDC, FDA and other federal agencies for professionally researched, science-based facts. I trust Dr. Susan Monarez.
And note Ukraine's restraint. None of Ukraine's bombs or drones target civilian areas, none enter Moscow residential areas. Talk about your sharp contrast. And yet our country greets Putin with a red carpet and Zelenskyy gets "why don't you thank us?" and "where's your suit?" Shameful.
It would be a shame. And a mistake.
