I've swapped back to Kagi (kagi.com) for search again - the ability to block domains from your results is so useful I'm not sure I can live without it any more. And Google etc are the most useless they've ever been, pushing whatever makes them money rather than actually finding good results. #tech

Thank you all for your kind words today - they are very much appreciated and have been relayed to the family. 🙏
Bitlevel (@bitlevel.at) reply parent
Same - I crack directly but not everyone wants to juggle like that, so I gave the easy version. 😉
Bitlevel (@bitlevel.at) reply parent
Why would I want to block you?

Best trick I learned: - Boil water with vinegar and salt in it, turn down to simmer - Crack egg into cup/glass - With the handle end of a wooden spoon (or like), stir the simmering water into a 'funnel' - Slide the egg from the cup into the water It will spin for a bit, but end up lovely.

Of course! 😁

Same. It would appear that being bothered isn’t a thing for FPL - I set it and left it last year. 😂

Do you find it makes a massive difference? Also, what are your closed case temps like?

Yep. It’s Aero v2. Ish. Skeuomorphism is back @ Apple.

A useful tip and it does disable the ‘Liquid Glass’ effect, but somehow it makes it all worse. Starting to think I need to revert and completely ignore v26 (anything).

If you can find it, reader mode is great for websites. Removes all the cruft so you can get on and read the actual article. And, obviously, allows translations.
Bitlevel (@bitlevel.at)
Blimey - has it been 4 years already???

iPhone will allow you to translate the article when you open it in reader mode. Unsure if Android can do this?

Al and Ziggy being bashed a lot had a massive influence on my decision. Because that's what I want to do to it - bash it, constantly.
Bitlevel (@bitlevel.at) reply parent
This is why I've changed the wake word to 'Ziggy'. However, be fair warned that the TV - somehow - still triggers the bloody thing.

Has England regressed under Tuchel? Hell yes. They're also the most BORING team to watch ever - and that's saying something, especially when there are so many quality players available to him. I guess the real question is - should England remove Tuchel and appoint another?
