we are going to share one thing with everyone to read something the media won’t. The reason the media won’t share is because it involves the media’s being nonprofit/ really for profit millionaires.
In 2014, a young journalist outed a trans woman in a story for Grantland about golf clubs. When she learned she was going to be outed, she killed herself. The story ran anyway. Many of my journalist friends praised it and then defended it.
Can we have a real conversation about nonprofit organizations and how nonprofit organizations are really for profit. Seriously let’s have this conversation it us important.
