I will never get over how a handful of tech bros set billions of dollars on fire to build a plagiarism machine that doesn't work and will destroy human society when they could have used a fraction of that money to fund a new golden age of creativity and knowledge.

Tired of making excuses for people who vote for cruelty, bigotry, destruction, dishonesty, blatant corruption and very obviously false promises all because they think the bad things are only targeting the people they don't understand or actually hate. No more excuses. Reasoning has never worked.
A lot of them are very pro MAGA. I work in the industry and this is directly affecting my company in very significant ways. I am furious about it, mostly because they and tens of millions of others are too programmed or stupid to see what is plainly obvious.
Maybe if this wasn't true, people would feel a lot more sympathy. 68% directly or indirectly voted for him. That he wasn't voted into irrelevance is a travesty and we're getting what we unfortunately deserve now.

The cascade of huge impacts this has cannot be overstated. No goods shipping = less truckloads = less miles on existing vehicles = longer ownership cycle of fleets = substantially reduced orders of new trucks = layoffs at OEMs = layoffs at parts suppliers. It's bad.
The GOP is too organized and good at manipulation of messaging to allow them to use legislation or acts of congress against us. They have to be strategic to undermine, not just throw stuff at the wall.
Not exactly. Throwing purely performative votes or bills out there is just that, performative. Dems need to be doing exactly what AOC and Bernie are doing such that it becomes so unpopular to stand with Trump that even the billionaires, corporations turn on him. That can make some of this stick.
Being disorganized is not going to solve this, and just creates performative drama that will be used against us. They need to strategically undermine trump and the GOP and that's exactly what AOC, Bernie and Walz are doing.

This has always been the GOP's strategy: 1) Cut taxes for the wealthy & corporations by claiming they'll pay for themselves. 2) Explode the deficit. 3) Demand cuts to vital programs that help millions. 4) Repeat. They're trying to get away with it again.

All solvable as technology improves. Energy density improvements with batteries are coming all the time. In ten years we'll see parity on vehicle mass, which is the driver or a significant contribution to all the other attributes listed. And at that parity we'll still have no tailpipe emissions.

Tonight an unbelievable **34,000 people** gathered for our Denver rally to take on billionaires and win our country back. This was the largest political gathering in Denver since Obama in 2008. Also bigger than the 2024 DNC. And the largest ever rally in Bernie’s career (and obviously, mine too).
These are e most important #s for the Dems. They should be tracking all local media and influencers in these states and reposting it everywhere The economic pain tariffs can indlict on red states need to be talked about more than anything else right now. It will flip voters.
How about instead of building more, force corporations to divest and sell the massive swath of homes they bought? That would be FAR more effective and has essentially zero carbon impact to the planet. Also....doesn't cost any taxpayer dollars.
The City of Sun Prairie has become the first municipality in Wisconsin to achieve 100% renewable energy. Their next goal: carbon neutrality by 2050. Recently I introduced a bill with State Representative Supreme Moore Omokunde to commit the entire state to carbon neutrality by 2050.

Yes I saw that repeatedly. Young people incapable of understanding how nuanced and complicated the middle east and Israel's place in it is. They just see any support of Israel as support of Bibi and decided to fuck themselves over because of it.
I have a pretty hard time wanting to relate to anyone who knowingly voted for him and then is surprised by any of this. We literally told them. No empathy. I understand not voting a bit more, but it's still extreme abdication of civic responsibility (single or two issues voting over the country).

A lot of them are bots. I'm not arguing that it's bigger, but I don't think the disparity is as big as you think. Also - this kind of thing isn't the place to reach those people. It's in the real world and on TV.

In addition to being illegal, unconstitutional and wrong, Trump's lawlessness is also an extraordinary abuse of power as we the people have to pay his legal bills and ultimately for the damages his harms will bring. He is legally and financially liable for nothing. Break laws, get sued, we pay.
There is a wave of anger building across the entire country. People are already becoming fed up with Trump and Musk. These algorithms can try to hide it all they want, but they won’t be able to avoid reality for long.
