So, Demon Slayer never really held me. There are good moments and the animation studio works hard on those fight scenes. But overall, I never fell in love with it as the general public did.

It truly was a gem of it's era. Like I that it fell into a bit of obscurity and doesn't get the amount of play and love as others from that time.
Anime means a lot to me... But mostly, it's community. I've have found the most amazing friends because of anime and the lessons in friendship and community run strong in anime. But also, the message of learning to be yourself. So I'll also say it means identity. A freedom of a sense of identity.
