At the dentist's office on my ipad, a boy and girl with their mom talking with the receptionist. The girl came over and asked if I had art apps. Her brother drew this dragon. The moral of this story: you can take a teacher out of a classroom, but the kids are gonna find her in the dentist's office!

Iām excited about giving one of the books that was mine and my sisterās when we were little to my niece at her baby shower. Itās pretty worn, but so are we š I love the thought of sending a book on its way through our familyās future history.

I agree about having higher expectations for students, but my video/tech is supplemental. I taught for 36 years before retiring. Now I focus on my business, writing quizzes for students to study for the Battle of the Books and other academic competitions. I emphasize, they need to read the books!

How the Battle of the Books Quiz Center Began - I was a 5th grade teacher, coaching kids for the Oregon Battle of the Books. I made quizzes to help them study. I thought, I bet people would buy these. I posted, but then got busy teaching and forgot about it. Then I got an email: This is a SCAM!
