Do away with all commissions. They can be bought and influenced. Award seats based on percentage of votes by party. If a party gets 60% of the votes, they get 60% of the seats. Talk about making Congress more responsive! Holy crap! Even 3rd parties can win! The Bernie Sanders Party!
When you win the Midterms the GOP will be more willing to listen to reason. Do away with gerrymandering by awarding seats based on the % of party votes. This would make politics way more responsive to voters needs and they wouldnât have to wait 10 years for a census to get fair representation.

That would certainly help here in the USA but it wouldnât be enough. If dozens of wealthy donors supported congressional politicians across a number of states it could effectively control outcomes. Donations must only be limited to one jurisdiction.

The only fair solution is to apportion the seats based on the percentage of the vote received by each party. This would encourage politicians to work to earn votes for their party and would allow new parties to have a chance to gain power. This would chasten both parties.
