I'm usually a canvasser (door-knocker) during election season. This year, I've been asked to serve as the canvassing leader in my area (long story, many tears). I may need to cut back on shenanigans for the next 6 weeks. Let's see how that goes.
California is going to try and redraw congressional districts for next year's elections (in response to Texas' shenanigans). California leaves it up to the voters to decide whether to accept the redistricting. Volunteers are going to be busy drumming up support for these efforts.

We drove up the hill to get some dessert at our local place. They're rebranding and now feature some live music. It was a very good addition.
Food is here! A crispy chicken sandwich for me. Caprese sandwich for La Doña. Pretty tasty.
We're at a local brew house for dinner. My next pour is in that stainless steel tank.

It's currently halftime and the JSU marching band is on putting on a wonderful program. I'm struck by how dedicated these musicians are to their performance. It's the same intensity that musicians at the "Big " universities give. It's great to see. Very entertaining.
I was "spinning the dial" and landed on the Jackson State vs Hampton football game. These are two HBCUs. They're playing in a stadium smaller than some Texas HS arenas and the visiting team side of the arena is pretty empty. The game is on "HBCU Go" network. I'm gonna have to dial in more often.
The format of the business meeting is like Toastmasters. There are roles which I've forgotten to fill. I call on people on-the-fly and end up filling the roles myself since no one knew they'd be reporting so I have to give the reports. Weird, right?
Another weird dream. I'm in a mall and enter what looks like a huge old-time lunch counter/restaurant. It's a company meeting that' I'm supposed to be running. I'm totally unprepared.
