Might be a dumb question with a simple answer but: is this actually blasphemous to the American Evangelical movement? It probably would be at the church I grew up in, but I feel like evangelicals have been saying this for a century at this point

I think the rambling & repetition is done for stylistic/comedic purposes. It definitely meanders more than a lot of other video essays, but I'm not sure that it's meant to be squarely in the video essay realm.

We need to be vocally providing input to our engineering associations about the risks involved with allowing AI to encroach on our field. All engineers need to prioritize their commitment to public safety, and reflect on why we wear the Iron Ring.
I am scared about the future of our profession. I have seen so many professional development seminars related to AI in engineering pop up for continued education, and all I can think about is an AI assisted engineering firm fucking up a Fire Pump design and killing hundreds.
I used to be a civil engineer; if I used design documents that referenced fake building codes or stress calcs and something went wrong I assume I'd lose my license and possibly end up in prison. Doing something like this is insane.
It's really interesting to me that people put this much thought into things like phone screen layout. I wouldn't know how to minimize my phone screen this much, let alone feel any need to do so.
