Pretty devastating noise from Mogwai @DoornroosjeNijmegen tonight. Saw them in Eindhoven some 10 or 15 years ago and this was at least as brutal as that. Great light show for support too

Kathryn Joseph opened for Mogwai @DoornroosjeNijmegen and was quite mesmerizing, even though she sang mostly about fvcking. Backed up only by (what sounded like) 80s synths & with a voice veering occasionally towards Buffy St Marie, she was hard to compare (Anne Clark covering Lana del Rey?). Nice!

Enjoyed most of the excellent line-up at South Facing today in Crystal Palace Park- managed to get there in time to see Caroline, The Twilight Sad, Lankum and Mogwai who were all on great form.
Always deliver Mogwai, terrific set. And was surprisingly plenty loud too (though the drumming at points sounded like a slapped arse)

Mogwai-fest in near neighbourhood. When first announced had planned to go with mate Steve. After he died a work thing came up meant kinda relieved couldn’t go. Weird intervention of being hospitalised in week with salmonella (not norovirus) meant could come to ball after all. Kinda glad. I know,TMI.

The setlist, thanks to a kind human who let me take a photo. 2 Rights was a nice surprise. We're No Here as well. Hi Chaos the best of the newies, sounded colossal. Satan I've heard nearly every time I've seen them but it still delivers. Quiet/loud has probably never been bettered.

#LiveMusic Mogwai Ahead of the gig on Tuesday, I’ve compiled a wishlist of my favourite tracks…don’t imagine too many will make an appearance in Belfast apart from a few of the staples. What I wouldn’t give for Crossing the Road Material, Helicon 1 or Kids Will Be Skeletons😁 Very excited!
