I've puzzled about her for a while. She's worn sleeveless tops at archaeological digs in Egypt- I accidentally forgot to put my scarf around my shoulders when visiting one & got a right telling off! Not to mention embarrassed when several young boys appeared to gawk!

This please. It doesn't have to be elaborate, just hearing "I like this" or "this is so cute" really is nice and makes my day! I don't know how or why people started thinking it was annoying or insincere to give compliments but it's not. Artists like knowing if people resonate with things we make.
When people in their 60s are mentioned on the news, in no way do I associate myself with that age group! Weird

I think what some people don't get is a LOT of artists and writers have spent more on their craft than they have earned back. At best, some break even, but it is a pretty small percentage that make a profit and a smaller number still who can earn a living wage at it... 1/2
