The Thursday Murder Club was a star-studded delight. Good performances all around, but the stand out was Naomi Ackie who stole every scene in which she appeared, often just by her expressions. I hope for more films in the series

Just got to Paradise Towers in my classic series rewatch. I still enjoy it as my favourite of that season; a low bar, I know. Yes, all of the performances are overstated, but that just adds to the surreal feeling of the story. Build high for happiness

One thing that I love about this week’s Who episode is that it is set outside of the Anglo-Euro-American norm and shows an African city and its people in a positive light.
This week’s episode of Dr Who has been echoing around my mind all day. It did not think it was the best story of the season on watching it, but it is genuine art and I think I shall rewatch it before any of this season’s other episodes.
This season of Doctor Who continues to delight. This story about stories was bizarre (in an entirely positive sense) It invites rewatching.

Love and Monsters I enjoy. even the creepy sex joke does not ruin it for me I just rewatched Time Flight. That is a story almost bereft of redeeming features. So bad, it makes Arc of Infinity seem like a masterpiece (spoiler, it isn’t)
The new version of Oblivion looks beautiful. The familiar prison and sewer story. But the view once you emerge is spectacular. Archery works well. Melee still seems a little floaty. Looking forward to being distracted from the actual story.
