Interesting session today: song with acoustic guitar, vocal, and keyboard drone, then there are 3 takes of drums and bass freaking out in the middle eight. I'm listening to the takes and working them into a composite, building a part out of improv(s).
Very possible, weird voltage, grounding, etc. I recorded an album on a suspect desk once and all of the waveforms were similarly asymmetrical, power supply rails were uneven I think.

The artist sent in the samples of bones being dropped to augment the snare drum in the mix. I converted the snare to M1d1 and created a VI of the bones in Kontakt, very fun engineering.
