My brother was once barred from entering my building, even w/ keys in hand. He sat on the pavement for 5 hrs until I got home. The porter then told me “He’s too dark to be your brother…looked like a criminal”. We ended up at the police station. I left a grown man battered & I don’t regret a thing.
